# Thumbnail View - Group PDF

Group PDF is a setting in [SharinPix Abilities](/documentation/access-and-security/sharinpix-abilities.md) and [SharinPix Permission](/documentation/access-and-security/sharinpix-permission-object-how-to-create-and-assign-custom-permission.md) which permits to group pages uploaded from the same PDF file into a single entity.

On the preview pane, the thumbnail will then show a PDF icon to mark the image as a cover of this group of page.

![](/files/DjGTthGwbyqfsCMUmQlg)

When you click on this thumbnail, you access to the group of pages as images and can get back to the previous thumbnail list using the "Back" button

![](/files/FrZ4kPh2gTHYZElhiiEi)

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Note:**

If the PDF icon is not visible on the thumbnail, this means that **max pages** on your org has not been set to more than 1.

This functionality can be edited by root only. ([Should contact support team](/documentation/getting-started-with-sharinpix/how-to-contact-support.md))
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.sharinpix.com/documentation/features/user-interface/thumbnail-view-group-pdf.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
