# I can't delete a Tag from SharinPix administration dashboard

## No delete button available!

If you have no delete button available from a Tag open in SharinPix administration dashboard, that could be normal.

You can delete tags that are not used anymore. So to gain back the delete button, you should first untag all the pictures using this tag and then get back to the administration dashboard to see the delete button back.

## How to find where my tag is used?

Within the administration dashboard you have a Tag Image related list which list all the images using this tag. A tag could be deleted ONLY when this list is empty.

Navigate from there to find the images to untag and get back here as soon as you have remove all the Tag Image.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.sharinpix.com/faqs/i-can-t-delete-a-tag-from-sharinpix-administration-dashboard.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
