SharinPix Forms is offering the capability of asking questions in a structured way to user on the field, including asking them to capture or fill out information in a visual way.

So you can image to ask to fill out a name, a phone number, a serial number, but also to document any questions with Notes, Photos, Videos, Scanned documents, Personalised sketches (supporting all the visual features which has made the success of SharinPix since years of time).

All that working fully offline!

All start with a Form template which can be edited to build the form as it will be used by field users (learn more about the SharinPix Form Template Builder here).

This Form template is then saved under a specific name, and can be associated with an action triggered by a Salesforce user or even provided as a link to external users without Salesforce access.

This action or link, once clicked open the SharinPix mobile app to run the form in an offline mode (read more about SharinPix Form Launcher and SharinPix Form Links here).

Once filled, this form could be submitted by the field user and will be uploaded in background or right away if you have any connection at this time.

Once the upload is finalised (depending on the length of the form and/or the number of media associated to it, it can take seconds or minutes to load) it will appear in Salesforce as a SharinPix Form Response.

A configuration can be added to associate a Form Response to the parent from which it has be started, so you can have as an example Multiple Inspection forms associated to a specific Property (the name of this configuration is the SharinPix Form Response Sync Setting).

The Form Response give access to the Form Data either in a visual way (so the desktop user can see the form in the same way it has been filled by the field user), in a PDF format (a PDF can be automatically generated to reflect the form data so it can be shared with external users) but also as Answers record and field in Salesforce (so as an admin you can apply any Salesforce logic, automation, query, report, view on it).

From the SharinPix Form Templates tab, you can create a Form template by adding any elements to it. The elements can be either a decoration (Title, description, visual guidance), a question (asking for some values to be picked or filled out) or even a visual action (capture photos, videos, sketching, and more).

The Form template can be previewed and tested (but for the photo/video capture) directly from there.
